Hello future residents! Victoria House is a Hall of Residence for tertiary students in the heart of Wellington.

We are situated on The Terrace providing close access to the central city and the University, just a 5-minute walk to both. Our location provides the best of both worlds with easy access to the shops, cinemas, cafes and Wellington nightlife, and easy access to the surrounding University campuses for studies.

Our aim is to provide an environment where you can fulfill your academic goals while enjoying a social atmosphere where you can learn the important skills of communal living. We have beds for 180 people who come from a diverse background. This blend of people from different nationalities and locations within New Zealand, provide Victoria House with its unique culture, which past residents have enjoyed.

To assist you in your social activities and for your welfare we have four Residential Assistants and one Senior Residential Assistant. For assistance in your academic pursuits we have a live in Study consultant. These people and myself are available during the day and night to help you with any problems you may have or just to talk to.
